Thursday's Inpiration: Tree

Thursday's Inspiration: Blue

Colorado has some cool looking birds.  I believe this is a Magpie. They are all over the area despite that Wikipedia is saying they're European or Korean, this closely resembles a Korean Magpie than any Magpie.
I see them more often up in the mountains....

.....but they fly around down here at the base of the foothills too.

They swoop and dive and are very fast birds!  Check out their beauty when they fly!
Disclaimer: This is NOT my picture.
When I get home I'll find more I took that are similar.

I have been in awe of these creatures since we first moved here!
Crow Family?!? My butt Wikipedia!!
This is a beautiful, beautiful one of God's creature's!

Here are a few others (and more to come) of the Colorado Skies! They are the coolest!

This was like a rainbow in the clouds! I couldn't believe it!!

Thursday's Inspiration: Fence

Check out more Fence Themed pictures over at Little Red House for Thursday's Inspiration.

If you want to find this fence you'll have to drive up into the rocky mountains to a little town called Central City. There are some fantastic views there. Known more for it's 16 casino's than it's views, I headed up there alone one Saturday afternoon, just me and my camera. For more pictures from my afternoon in the mountains click here.

This fence was also in Central City:
Here is another fun picture that I've taken involving a fence:
This is a sweet family from the seminary who graduated and
just moved away this weekend for their first real ministry job!

This is a pretty cool fence right?? The one with my daddy in front of it! This picture doesn't require a lot of photographer skill because well just look at the scenery, but what I love about it, is who is in it!!

Thursday's Inspiration: Round

This is for the Photo Challenge hosted by Little Red House; this week's theme word: Round.

Thanks to my friend Mariah who made Kraft Macaroni and Cheese the other day because when she was boiling the water - which I rarely let it boil first I saw "it"; my picture for this week!

Here are a few other shots I got in the process - the last one being my favourite!!!!

Did you know that if you put a wooden spoon across the top of a pot of boiling water, it will NOT boil over??

Love this one:

Thursday's Inspiration: Green

This is my second challenge by Little Red House. I actually have it ready before Thursday! Woot!! Green being my favourite colour and a bit of an obsession for me, (heck I even have a whole board on Pinterest devoted to Green) I had no idea how I was going to choose a subject for this one. I had so many idea's floating in my head (grass, by bedroom walls, the living room rug, a green background with the object being a different colour - so many options), but one of them, stuck out.

I have this fun green sparkly decoration, that I actually stole from my mom's Christmas decorations, but leave it up all year at my house.

This is what it looks like from afar!

I also was making Jello Jiggler's for a work st. patty's day potluck, and snapped up this picture:

Shamrock Shaped Jell-O anyone??
